Location - MISFITS Office, St. Paul, MN
In Attendance:
MISFITS Coordinators -

Events
- Cinema Rex post mortem
– peak was 81 people. Went really well. Except for people
being banned being sent postcards. Raised $120 for Roadkills
from the pass around. Obtained 115 pounds of non-perishable
food. Dave is going to get the food from Landroval Studios
to drop off at the Second Harvest food shelf.
- MISFITS Trivia Contest
and Scavenger Hunt committees are underway.
Dave is talking to people about Scavenger Hunt including Jen
Manna. Peter wants to help out (depending on how busy he is
with Trivia Contest.) Potential date – Saturday, May 17th
for Scavenger Hunt. Maybe do a postcard for both events.
Maybe shrink down a team application form in PR1 for next
November. All the clubs should field a team. Dave will ask
Sharon and Bob if they are interested in hosting the
scavenger hunt. Jodie is happy to help with the Scavenger
Hunt.
Programs
- In the Schools -
Alicia has agreed to be the In the Schools contact for
Authors starting in January.
Room Parties
- Matt is doing MarsCon
- Emily and Aaron are doing
MiniCon
- Matt wants to run Anime
Detour. Peter will check if the girls still want to do
it and, if not, get back to Matt so he can reserve a party
room at Detour.
Club Updates
- Ginger was concerned that
no one showed up for her Crafty Geek meeting – it wasn’t on
the website. Also a general problem that Alicia isn’t
getting information to Jodie in a timely manner. Suggested
that all club heads email Jodie and Peter together with any
website updates after the meeting is over.
Staff Appreciation
- Dave has a list of all the
events people from 2006 and 2007. He will be ordering 72
mugs and about 30 jackets. We are going to try and hand them
out at our annual meeting.
- Jodie suggested that we
rent out a movie theatre like Melissa used to do for our
staff appreciation party. Peter will take this as it falls
under fan relations.
Technology
- Peter suggested we block
off a window of time at our MC retreat to walk through
technology issues.
Calendar
- Reminder – January
Retreat - Annual MISFITS Coordinators Retreat is January
18th through 20th. Election is Sunday the 20th. Thomas will
let Elliott know when the retreat is, so he can make it.
