We are looking for lots of people
to help us out for the various activities we have throughout the
year. If anything below interests you -- or if you have any
other ideas about what you could do for MISFITS, please contact
us at
volunteer@misfit.org. unless otherwise noted. It is a good
way to have a lot of fun! We need volunteers at all levels, even if you'd like to contribute only an hour or two. It all adds up! In order to be a voting member of MISFITS you need 20 hours of service throughout the year.
MISFITS
Clubhouse aka Room Party Volunteer work for the MISFITS room party done during the convention counts as CONvergence volunteer hours - this includes set up, party shifts, and tear down. 1 hour of volunteer work gets you an invite to the CVG volunteer party and 15 hours gets you a CVG volunteer t-shirt. If you volunteer please remember to have one of the MISFITS Directors (Dave Benhart, Jodie Gustafson, Elliott James, Andy Murphy or Peter Verrant) sign your volunteer card. Room party shifts: one hour increments - we need at least 2 people a shift to work with the MISFITS Director on duty. The room party is open from 9:00 pm to 1:00 am and this schedule gives 30 minutes for prep and clean up time. If you are able to help - please send an email to Jodie at info@misfit.org stating your name, phone number and when/where you'd like to volunteer.
